Declaration of the duty to provide information (data protection)

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, we will store the data you provide for one year for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that the name, address and contact details of the buyer are stored for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing.

The data you provide is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of transfer to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After cancellation of the booking process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored at least until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years) and for the further fulfilment of the contract, the lifelong option of repeating the seminar will be stored until revoked.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised. This means that only a rough localisation is possible. The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on standard contractual clauses.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised. User data is stored for a period of 6 months.

Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we require your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information on your name, address and areas of interest. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link that appears at the end of each newsletter. Your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch will then be deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
